Coffee is no longer just part of our culture

We didn't want to miss this topic, which has been in the news in recent days. A law passed by the Colombian Congress officially declares coffee the national beverage. ☕️

A recognition that affirms our identity, culture, and the central role that coffee has played in the country's economic, social, and emotional history. Each cup represents not only flavor, but also collective effort, knowledge, and a deep connection with the land.

This decision acknowledges that legacy. But it also invites us to ask a key question:

What kind of coffee are we talking about when we talk about national identity?

At Libertarian, we believe it's time to elevate the conversation.

Celebrating this declaration also means promoting the value of specialty coffee: traceable, cultivated with intention, respectful of the terroir, and building well-being for communities through regenerative practices.

It's not just a cultural symbol, but an opportunity to make a real impact. Because when grown with purpose, coffee transforms lives, regenerates soils, connects territories, and redefines what we understand by quality.

This is a matter of national pride, but above all, a collective responsibility. At Libertario, we celebrate it for what it is: a call to choose freely, with knowledge, and intention. 💙

El café ya no solo es parte de nuestra cultura
